I am a retired Physician Assistant having practiced medicine in both in the civilian world as well as the U.S. Army. I’ve done odd stuff like contract work for the Army in the Mojave Desert, occasional safety/medical consulting for outdoor TV/movie shoots, a little traditional emergency medicine work, three years at Fort Drum, NY, and six months in Honduras.
I retired from the Army in January 2022 and from civilian work the following August. Nowdays I volunteer with the local Medical Reserve Corps, mostly vaccinating (and most of that now with the homeless), as well as with the local Second Harvest Food Bank at outdoor distribution events. When not at home in Spokane, I am tooling about the U.S. and Canada in my Sprinter camper van.
This site is merely a collection of stories about my odd adventures with my even odder friends.
“Adventure is just bad planning.”
