Milan Gargoyles

September 6th, 2010
Milan, Italy

There is only one inescapable conclusion:  Maria Gambrielli killed the gardener.

No, wait…um…it’s…   Oh, yes, I know:  You cannot deny that the one most important thing lacking in American society, the thing more of which would benefit us most, is, without a doubt, gargoyles (and other similar monsters) on our buildings:

Sometimes alone…

Sometimes in pairs…

Sometimes with flourishes and decorations…

Sometimes ladies…

Sometimes ladies and monsters…

But, whether somewhat diminutive…

Or grandiose…

Monsters are best, and who can deny it?

And sometimes a little bit of everything at once…

This last building really intrigued me.  If it hadn’t been overcast, I would have loved to have gone back there in the warm light of late afternoon and spent about an hour shooting it from different angles.
