Late in the rotation at the Aid Station in the Mojave.  Late night boredom.  Lots of Mountain Dew.  I came in prepared today, having bought a $7 game at the PX.

How could I have known that the medics wouldn’t follow the instructions on the box?

The photo doesn’t show it clearly, but the “target” is wearing goggles along with his helmet.  Safety first!

They eventually wrapped tape around a crutch to create a bat for their own version of cricket.  Their NCOIC made them stop when they almost broke a window.  Killjoy!

I think about tomorrow…and the fact that the PX sells nerf swords…
